Don’t Miss This Year’s Landscape Industry Show

Next week is the 2012 Landscape Industry Show sponsored by the California Landscape Contractor’s Association.  The show is titled “Back in the Game” and if you ask me, the CLCA has gotten back in the game.  The past few years I believe the show experienced a decrease in attendance, but this year the CLCA is back with some new offerings and I think this year has the potential to be one of the best.

Your Chance to Get in the Social Media Game

One of the new features this year is the Technology Café.  Representatives for LinkedIn and Facebook will be at the Technology Café on Thursday, February 2nd, explaining how to use social media to increase your business. I will be there with the ValleyCrest and Corona Tools’ #landscapechat team(MarGoH2O, H2oMatters, H2oTrends, ValleyCrest, Corona Tools ) on Wednesday, February 1st for a live Tweet-up at the CLCA booth.  On Thursday from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm we will be in the Technology Café instructing how to use Twitter and other apps like Hootsuite and Tweetchat to increase sales.  There will also be lots of practical how-to industry technology including Jibbigo, Soil Web, and QwickPAY mobile payment solutions.

There’s More for Free

If you register for the show ahead of time on the web, the show is free.  The day of show admission is a whopping $5.00.  I’m pretty sure parking will cost you more, and you won’t see the following seminars in the parking lot on Wednesday, February 1st:
