In 2025 I published Waterwise Gardening — a comprehensive guide to sustainable irrigation and water conservation. I’m a past board member of the Irrigation Association and The Water Conservation Garden, and a recipient of the Leadership in Landscape award.
I live in La Jolla, California with my wife, a UC Master Gardener, where we maintain a half-acre productive garden that puts everything I preach into daily practice.
